Merry Making in Meerbusch
Hi...Sorry I haven't blogged in a while. Been pretty busy socialising! Mum and Dad took me to this party in Germany, and we stayed over. It was lots of fun. I rather enjoyed the change of scene - especially not having to sleep in my boring old crib in the night. Met another person about my size, perhaps a little bigger. He was called Jonah - though should have been called Joupy instead since he was crawling just like a zeehond..a seal i mean. Loads of strangers beamed at me - and I beamed right back!
Checkout my outfit - i believe polka dots are all the rage currently.

Little Baby Bunting
Ahhh...It's been pretty cold. Suddenly my pram is a nice place to be! Mummy puts me into this snug cozy bunny outfit, I think it makes me look rather chic. Thank you!
The colder it gets, the more Mummy seems to want to get me out of the house! Yesterday we met Aunt Jacqueline, Aunt Sharon and Little Robin in the arena. Checkout the pictures!
Jerry Giraffe
I have been so bored with the fatuous toys my folks seem to think i like! Silly dancing pops (puppets in dutch) and funny faced bunnies! Today Mummy finally got it - and decided to bring down all my pets. There it was at last - Jerry Giraffe! I love him! Especially his minty ears .. tastes pretty good !

Flip Flop
Ok...This is not about John Kerry's erstwhile campaign for presidency. Nor about my mum's penchant for owning several kinds of flip flops in varied colors. Here she goes rambling again.
This is about me doing a little flip onto my tummy! I was reaching for my mum's laptop..and hey presto suddenly I found myself facing a quilted white face! Ooops this wasn't right..I couldn't see much..had to push my self with my fore paws and look around! Looked like I was on my stomach like Joupy (the baby seal mum's obsessed with). Unfortunately I didn't know how to get back on my back..so I looked at mum, who was laughing like a lunatic, and she helped me flip back again. I have to say this view is much nicer!
All of this was rather tiring, so I decided to take a little nap in the day. Suddenly my cot seemed like a cosy place to be - much more exciting than mum, and her constant clattering on the computer. Ok..enough now..need some milk to keep writing..so perhaps tomorrow!
Aye ..

It was not a laugh but merely a loud smile
This morning I was lazing.....where else.. but mummy's lap..when suddenly i produced some fun sounds! Mummy seemed delighted and instantly picked up a black device, punched some sounds and seemed to be chattering excitedly !
All of this was going well till like Woody Allen i found ' I am thankful for laughter, except when milk comes out of my nose!'

Identity Crisis
Hi there,
Sorry I haven't written in a while - been busy entertaining the folks. Thamma and Dadu are visiting! I am quite enjoying all this attention! We've been having action packed weeks...went to a pujo in Cologne, had a picnic in Hoge Velluwe, went to Zans Schanse etc. Did the usual touristy things!
They are fascinated by all the names mom and dad call me - ( i am so confused since the names change very day). They range from Munchkin, to Dumbo the flying elephant to Chewbacca to god knows what.

Burrito Visits
My cousin Burrito came to visit us with his mom and dad. Was kinda cool - haven't really met any cousins before! Our conversation was limited - mine to yelps and giggles, and his to meehh, geela and bhow(for his mom, horses and hounds!).
I got a ton of gifts from my cool mashi - looks like i'll have to grow fast to wear them! Life is getting to more exciting!

My 1st road trip
Here I was..Six weeks old, and Dad decided I needed to go on my 1st road trip!
One of the things you'll discover about my folks is they are creatures of habit. For eg if its a Saturday afternoon its easy to predict which cafe my folks can be found frequenting. If its Thursday evening - its Picasso. It goes on.
In the summer - my parents always find themselves in Brugge, at the Verdi, in the same suite! When I say always - this is a pattern that has repeated itself since 2003 when Dad 1st came here on business.
Oma was leaving next Wednesday, so Dad decided it would be fun for all of us to take a trip.
So Oma and Mummy packed again for the yeti hunt, though mum in all her haste forgot to pack any clothes for herself! Which is really funny if you know my Mummy!
Everyone was really amazed at how much I loved the weekend away! Loads of strangers beamed at me - it was fun! Oma bought me a beautiful lace dress. Can't wait to grow into it!
At dinner the waiter asked me if I'd like a blond beer to go with my mussels. Perhaps next time!

Baby's Day Out!
At last Oma (Dutch for grandma) relented ... probably a touch of dutch sunshine ...and i went out on my 1st proper outing! Mom n Dad were more organised than usual! Dad made reservations at Picasso - their favourite restaurant, for the garden. Mummy and Oma packed as though they were going yeti hunting to the Himalayas. No chance of a sudden shortage of anything!
Mummy, Daddy and the pram were all coordinated! Never mind poor little me! Its a good thing Oma spent some time getting me dressed because M & D didnt look particularly concerned! Mummy wore her vaudeville jacket, Dad his new T shirt and they looked so proud !
We stopped off at St Jan's on the way ...Mummy and Oma lit candles while Dad and I watched!
It was a warm and sunny day, and I quite enjoyed it in the garden! Oma picked me up for a cuddle, and I enjoyed that even more! After a while i felt rather drowsy and fell asleep, so not really sure what happened. But there's tons of pictures from that day - which Oma says looks more like a pram advertisement rather than Baby Boo's 1st outing! Sigh.

Day Zero
Just a line to let you know that I arrived safe and sound onto the 3rd rock from the sun. I was born on July 15 2006 at 23.45 hrs CEST in Den Bosch, Netherlands. If you don't know where that is, don't worry - you're not alone. Apart from the 15 million people in Holland, precious few do.
My parents (Aditi and Ujjwal) are over the moon and gave me a name which completes the laboured sun, moon and stars line that I've been building up to this whole post. D-oh !
That's me in the picture, sleeping... I do a lot of that. I also cry a lot, but that's just a reflex - i'm pretty happy to be on this planet. Really. Truly. Well, maybe it could be a better place without all the fighting and the global warming and all that. But to paraphrase what somebody famously said, "The problems of one little baby don't amount to a hill of diapers in this crazy world."
